  1. Zany Haney…what can you say?

Superman’s outbursts remind me of the B&B Batman/Joker “team-up” when Batman, after coming across the aftermath of the Joker’s latest murder spree, violently yells he is going to hunt down the Joker and kill him like the dog he is or something like that. We’re still waiting, Bats!

The Dillin/Anderson team is a nice combo. Dillin had adopted a more angular, Adams-like style by this point, and it’s a nice mix to have Anderson’s soft brush work applied as a contrast. Two great tastes that taste great together and all that.

Nice to hear Shawn drop by. I’m a fan of his TTF output, and you two have a nice back-and-forth going.

    Another great one!

    Michael,
Great show! I will probably download Shawn’s Just One of the Guys podcast one day, as I’ve enjoyed his podcastery when I’ve heard him on the excellent Green Lantern’s Light podcast, as well as this show. I would like to finish the Green Lantern’s Light shows first, though.

I have World’s Finest Comics #220, so I was able to read it! This peon got something out of it! I thought the ad on the inside front cover was funny because they were offering a SPECIAL SAMPLE BOOK including cards for Blacks, which I don’t think you would see in a modern comic. I enjoyed both of your commentary on the issue, but thought I would give my theory that lawyer Molina was not tossed out of the window by Carlotta Esteban (El Monstro). I think after seeing her crash through the wall (which was AWESOME!), Molina was so terrified he jumped out the window!

At one point in the show, if I remember correctly, you said, “Batman and Superman…No…Superman and Batman…”
I just wanted to be the first person to call you out on your conscious effort to always list or say Superman before Batman. It’s okay with me if you let Bats slip out first sometimes. I think all your fans know you prefer Superman!
I know preference between the characters can be a polarizing topic amongst fandom, but I for one love both characters. The way I see it, I’m not marrying either one, so I don’t have to choose. Both have their merits! When I got married, I didn’t list a best man, I had best men, so maybe I’m just a weirdo. Beware the Mattman!
