Lights out (for now)

It is with much regret that we announce that Green Lantern’s Light has come to an end … at least for now. Circumstances in the lives of your hosts, Michael Bradley, Jeffrey Taylor and J. David Weter, have made regularly putting out episodes, even on a monthly basis, a near impossibility. The show’s archives will remain online, so please feel free to re-listen, tell your friends and spread the word about the greatness that is Green Lantern.

Also, don’t forget to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter or subscribe via RSS to stay in the loop if and when the show returns (which we all really hope it does!).

You can still catch David on his weekly shows, Superman Forever Radio and PAD Smash: An Incredible Hulk Podcast!, as well as a “Superboy in the Bronze Age” segment on Superman in the Bronze Age.

Jeffrey can be regularly heard on From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast. He is also a staff writer at the Superman Homepage and has a column at Movies.com. And, be sure to not miss his webcomic, Slipstream, illustrated by friend of the show Billy Hogan and colored by former guest Charlie Niemeyer.

Michael can be heard on The Thrilling Adventures of Superman, and found at his blog, Siegel & Shuster: Mythmakers, which is focused on the lives, works and legacies of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

If Green Lantern’s Light’s absence has left a hole in your listening and you’re in the mood for Green Lantern podcasts, please consider giving a listen to Just One of the Guys: A Green Lantern Podcast. Hosted by former guest Shawn Engel, the show focuses on the Green Lantern series that began in 1990, with an emphasis on Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner. Shawn has been a big supporter of this show since it began and is an outstanding podcaster in his own right. Be sure to give his show a listen!

David, Jeffrey and Michael want to give a big thank you to everyone who supported the show, plugged us, wrote in and, most importantly, listened week after week. You folks are the best!

Spread the love
