Billy Hogan has released episode 280 of the Superman Fan Podcast!
If you’re a fan of Jerry Siegel’s take on Supergirl, you’re in for a treat. Among the stories looked at this episode are two written by Siegel — which both heavily feature the Maid of Might!
First up is the second story from SUPERMAN #154, which is a 13-page story titled, “Krypton’s First Superman!” Supergirl must unravel the mystery of why Superman has suddenly started acting evil and out of character — and it’s a mystery that goes all the way back to her and her cousin’s native planet: Krypton!
Second, Billy takes a look at ACTION COMICS #290. In what is billed as an “all Red Kryptonite issue,” the 13-page Supergirl story is titled, “Supergirl’s Super Boy-Friends!” In it, after Supergirl is exposed to a piece of the unpredictable crimson meteor, she finds that he gives super-powers to anyone she kisses — including Dick Malverne and Jerro! Oh noes!
