Welcome to the episode three of Green Lantern’s Light! Each episode, we look at the stories of Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner and the entire Green Lantern Corps, beginning with GREEN LANTERN #172 from 1983, hosted by Michael Bradley, Jeffrey Taylor and J. David Weter.

Just in time for Christmas, we dive head-first into 1984 with a look at Green Lantern comics from January, February and March of that year. As Hal adjusts to life back at home, the Shark surfaces to take a bite out of our Emerald Crusader. Then in issue #177, we get a flashback to a twice-told tale where Hal hooks horns with the huge-headed hoodlum, Hector Hammond!

Next episode, we will be looking at GREEN LANTERN (Vol. 2) #178, 179 and 180. Big changes are a-comin’ for Green Lantern. Don’t miss it!

Welcome to the episode two of Green Lantern’s Light! Each episode, we look at the stories of Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner and the entire Green Lantern Corps, beginning with GREEN LANTERN #172 from 1983, hosted by Michael Bradley, Jeffrey Taylor and J. David Weter.

We get right down to it and kick off our regular coverage this episode with a look at Green Lantern comics from October, November and December 1983. First up is GREEN LANTERN (Vol. 2) #172, which brings Hal Jordan back to Earth after a year-long exile. We then move on to issues 173 and 174 as Hal defends both Ferris Air and Los Angeles when he takes on a new menace in the form of the Javelin!
