  1. Greetings, Michael,
Another fun episode! Thank you! I do have a few things to add to your commentary, and one quibble. 1) How were “kids” able to donate blood without arousing any questions? 2) Among the possibilities not considered by Superman or Batman was that maybe they were non-Kryptonian aliens. 3) Why did Batman feel the need to use a variety of kryptonite against the kids, to see if they were Kryptonians? Surely Green K would have been sufficient. Now for my quibble: You mentioned that you had the “reveal” spoiled for you, even before you read the story, but you never explained that. Why tell the listeners that, and not explain it? Have you never heard of Chekhov’s Gun? (That’s Anton Chekchov, not Ensign Pavel Chekhov.) In any event, as I said, a fun episode. I have the idea that Episode 25 will involve the Composite Superman. If that’s the case, I will be absolutely thrilled, since he is a wonderful foe for the World’s Finest team, and I love that character.
Good luck with your training for the 5K. It sounds like you’re on the upswing, there.
    Live long and prosper,
    Dave (aka Halk-Kar)

  2. When I looked at this cover over at Mike’s Amazing World, I noticed the kids colors were awful Mxy-like, and now I know why!

This sounds like a fun one. I have to agree with Dave that kids giving blood is probably the craziest thing in this story, and one that destroys all suspension of disbelief, which is weird considering it’s about an alien, a guy in a bat costume, and two 5th dimensional imps that can alter reality with a thought.

I’d love to hear you tackle the World’s Funnest one-shot at some point. Man, what a zany ride through DC history that is. It really may be the world’s funnest comic. Mxy and Bat-Mite in rare form there.

    Chris
