– Jeffrey mentioned “Exile” as one of his favorite Superman storylines. He and Michael Bailey covered this in episodes 38 to 43 of From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast.
– Jeffrey also lists SUPERMAN: SECRET IDENTITY as another favorite. It hasn’t been covered on From Crisis to Crisis (yet), but gets the highest endorsement from this show’s host, as well. So read it now and be prepared for when they do.

The Thrilling Adventures of SupermanWelcome to episode 77 of The Thrilling Adventures of Superman. The show’s mission is to explore the history and development of the Superman in his formative years by chronicling the Man of Steel’s Golden Age adventures in comics, radio and film.

We won’t bury the lede, folks. It’s a weird one this time. This episode, Michael looks at the 15th storyline from the Superman radio serial. The Daily Planet’s star reporter, Clark Kent, flies to Central America at the request of an explorer and on the hunt for a hot story. What results is thievery, plunder, looting and more! And when Superman’s done with that, he finally gets around to accidentally saving the day! Well, kind of. Confused? Just wait ’til you hear it for yourself.

The Man of Steel takes on more dirty devils and nasty ne’er-do-wells as Michael looks at the Superman story from the pages of ACTION COMICS #29. Our hero charges in, tearing down a racket perpetrated by vile fiends to prey on the aged, helpless and oppressed. If there ever was… this is a job for Superman.
